GLOBAL EPI LLC was founded in 2023 in Bayamón, Puerto Rico, by two healthcare professionals who had spent their careers on opposite ends of the same problem — one producing the evidence, the other responsible for making programs actually run.

Evidence fails at the handoff.
Public health does not usually fail for lack of a finding. It fails in the gap between a finding and a program someone can staff, fund, and sustain — where a rigorous study becomes a report nobody can act on, or an operational plan runs ahead of the evidence meant to justify it.
GLOBAL EPI LLC was built to hold both ends at once. Our founders pair doctoral-level research and epidemiological training with hands-on administration of health services inside Puerto Rico’s hospitals and primary care centers. That pairing is the firm: every engagement is designed so the science survives contact with an operating budget, a staffing model, and a regulator.
We work throughout the life course and across the social determinants of health, with data as the primary axis — and we scope every engagement against the 10 Essential Public Health Services.

Scientist, academic, and public health strategist with multidisciplinary training spanning medicine, philosophy, public health, and science — a Doctor of Medicine, a Doctor of Philosophy, a Master of Public Health, and a Master of Science.
